Chapter Twelve

Teddy had been at Louisa’s place for five days now and they’d settled into a nice routine. During the days he was allowed to serve her in every possible way, and she spoiled him right back. That Louisa planned some sort of scene each day almost made up for the fact that he was still sleeping in the guest bedroom at night.

The day after they’d slept together and cuddled on the couch, Louisa had come out of her office carrying a whiteboard. After writing out a list of rules, she’d directed him to hang it up in the kitchen.

Reading it, he would have wagged his tail if he could.

Even though he knew it by heart, he still chose the same spot at the kitchen counter as every morning so that he faced the white board, allowing him to re-read the words his Mistress had put in writing for him.

Teddy’s Rules
